6. When the umbrella surface is wet, due to the optical conduction of water, the transmittance of UV increases and the protective effect decreases. Therefore, wet umbrella is not suitable for UV protection.
7. Whether the sunscreen umbrella can resist ultraviolet rays is not important. The main thing is what kind of technical treatment the manufacturer has done to the fabric. General cotton, hemp texture of the fabric itself has a certain anti UV performance, but the degree is not strong. Most sunscreen umbrellas sold on the market in the past two years are coated with a layer of silver glue, which can reflect and block some direct ultraviolet rays. But the quality of silver glue is good or bad, and the silver glue of sunscreen umbrella produced by manufacturers with good technical conditions is not easy to fall off, while some cheap sunscreen umbrellas are just painted with a layer of silver on the umbrella surface in order to make up the numbers, and after several times of sunlight, they lose their color.
VIII. The UV protection performance can be preliminarily judged according to the fabric properties of umbrella surface. Generally speaking, the anti ultraviolet performance of cotton, silk, nylon, viscose, etc. is poor, while polyester is better. Usually used to make umbrellas, including polyester colored Ding cloth, Macbeth, etc. In addition, the anti UV performance of satin fabric is good, the following is twill, plain, the darker the better.
